The story behind fashion matters. Who makes the clothing? Why? And importantly, how? More and more, clients are asking these questions. Increasingly, designers are communicating their answers. Call it “sustainability,” “conscience,” or “consciousness.” We support and encourage active caring. After all, looking good involves feeling good. That’s where brands like Wool and the Gang help. Their work is unique, made by hand, and sustainable.
#MADEUNIQUE: In the Home, By Human Hands, No Robots
Wool and the Gang communicate their message of #MadeUnique convincingly. Shopping solely according to price is common, but there are better ways. As described on their website,
We’ve all done it, purchased low quality, cheap fast fashion made in factories abroad and wondered “how do they make it so cheap?” The reality is not good. There has to be a better way to produce, one that allows us to wear with pride and sleep soundly. So Wool and the Gang was born pioneering fashion production that’s made in a sustainable way, bringing back knitting as a viable means of production for generations to come.
Wool and the Gang is providing a stylish, feel-good alternative. This is due in part to their network of knitters.
A GLOBAL KNITWORK
