Gucci Guilty campaign featuring Jared Leto

Jared Leto was named the face of Gucci Guilty fragrance In December. This week, Leto’s highly anticipated campaign #GuiltyNotGuilty for Gucci Guilty finally arrived. Models Julia Hafstrom and Vera Van Erp appear with Leto in the Gucci campaign. Glen Luchford shot the campaign and the concept involves the inheritance of a Venetian villa. Perfect.

“We were talking about how much fun it would be if one day you were told that you inherited a villa in Venice from a distant relative and what that would be like,” Leto recalls. “How you could come to a city like this and rediscover or reinvent who you are. One way to think about it is to just ask ‘What if?’, ‘What are the possibilities here?’ I think that these are three people are open to possibilities. They are open to ideas and are not afraid of experimentation. They are not afraid of getting to know different sides of themselves and surprising themselves as well. I think there is a lot of intrigue here and I am curious to see what people take away from it.”

Synopsis

Matthew McConaughey stars in DALLAS BUYERS CLUB as real-life Texas cowboy Ron Woodroof, whose free-wheeling life was overturned in 1985 when he was diagnosed as HIV-positive and given 30 days to live. These were the early days of the AIDS epidemic, and the U.S. was divided over how to combat the virus. Ron, now shunned and ostracized by many of his old friends, and bereft of government-approved effective medicines, decided to take matters in his own hands, tracking down alternative treatments from all over the world by means both legal and illegal. Bypassing the establishment, the entrepreneurial Woodroof joined forces with an unlikely band of renegades and outcasts – who he once would have shunned – and established a hugely successful “buyers’ club.” Their shared struggle for dignity and acceptance is a uniquely American story of the transformative power of resilience.
