MARC JACOBS RECREATED THE ‘BIG SPENDER’ VIDEO AND IT WAS HILARIOUS!
You can always count on good ol’ Marc Jacobs to put an irreverent twist on fashion, no matter the season. To celebrate the holidays, the designer rounded up his favourite grad queens and RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Detox, Candis Cayne, Milk, Manila Luzon, Michel’le, Drew Droege, Alyssa Edwards & Bianca Del Rio for a recreation of Dame Shirley Bassey‘s iconic song, Big Spender. Jacobs, of course, is cast in the titular role, draped in his one of his signature fur coats, and camps it up for the camera, while his fabulous crew is dressed to the nines in his label’s Resort 2017 collection. Watch the full music video above.

At his New York fashion week party, Marc Jacobs will be celebrating the launch of Gloss, a collection of Chris von Wangenheim's images. The book is published by Rizzoli.
Marc Jacobs' DRESS TO KILL CODE, as described in the invite to his upcoming New York fashion week party, could appropriately read like captioning for von Wangenheim's fashion photos. Von Wangenheim's images capture the shiny, provactively glam fashion of 1970's. He was a contemporary of Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton.
"SEQUINS, SKY HIGH STILETTOS, MIRRORED AVIATORS, METAL MESH, COWL NECKLINE HALTERS, GLOSS-Y SKIN."
We hear you, Marc. Now, where's our invite?
